Gabriel Hanging Around For X-Mas

Well I accepted a BJD ADDICTS CHALLENGE.

The Challenge just in short was to make a BJD out fit of what you would find on a tree. >.> Well Gabriel is just shy of 10cm tall. XD so I didn't have much I could work with on this one.

( Gabriel ) Hujoo Baby Suve

Warning this dress will stain your doll.

Items used: ribbon, hot glue gun, BJD Hujoo Baby Suve (Gabriel) , 1 large ornament, 1 bell, (1) 7.5 ft x-mas tree previously decorated, and a little dark string.

What cause the staining was the metallic red coloring on ribbon and bounty color print paper towel.

I Spy... A BJD FOX?

This here is the recently new Hujoo-Pet-Fennec Fox- Penny :

It was release around October 2011, where I could not resist and hand to purchased one. Shipping didn't take too long once it shipped out, and it game in a brown box with orange flower print on it, and with the doll it was wrapped in a flower like pillow that was placed inside a cute small purse-like bag. I ordered the full face up, this doll is made out of resin, and with the face up it comes airbrushed for the fur tones, paw pads, mouth detailed, and eyes detailed, with eyes (mine were a radiant blue color). The only thing I dislike about the doll when useing eye puty which Hujoo did with the doll. It tends to rub off on the neck line when turning the head and will rub the body paint off. Then also my Fox did a weird head tilt thing which was cool looking but it exposed a small gap from the side where the head rests.

I couldn't figure out a clever name for the fox, and decided to wait when I received her and it seem the name Penny was very well suited for this beautiful doll. Then I came up with a fun Photo snap shot thing called Penny Around The World, because she came with a carrying case so I thought it would be cool to take pictures in different locations with her.

Gabriel seems to be fond of Penny too considering Penny runs around and plays tag in the woods with her.
Something tells me she telling secrets already.

I have a Little Girl!!!

Well first off I've had her for a few weeks now. Just it took awhile to figure out what happen to her eyes (Big thank you's to Yuri, for offering and helping select her eyes.) So this is how it went down.


It started with the fact My Truck that I just paid off decided to say "mom I am broken." The igniton broke on my husband while picking up supplies for the boat, and once behold it also fried the computer that reads the ignition chip in the key.

Next Day,
   Decided that If the ups man didn't stop by today that I would go and pick it up. Well not the best idea to do with an old back up truck in 90 degree weather. I went through with my plan and went to the wrong postal office and notice the coolant was spraying everywhere. yay just make it home. I got it home and got a cookie sheet to catch the fluid that was leaking like a fountain. Day ended two out of three vehicles down, and no doll.

The Following day,
   Borrowed the only working car, and drove to pick up may doll. This was the turning point, as my uncle was fixing one of the trucks. Ford said the parts were on Back order. Finnally questions rose again where are the eyes, they should have arrived before the doll or at least around the same time.

- Then went home and started resizing a Liv doll wig (picked up at wallmart ) with an ezacto knife and low temp hot glue gun. And put some Moxie girls clothes on her which fit but was still too big.

(she was starting to creep my grandmother out at this point.)

Tuesday,
I am under strong supicion that the eyes are in the Truck that is in the shop. I picked up the Truck, stopped off at Walmart and picked up some Brats clothing. still too big but the tank top works as a nighty dress. the eyes were in the truck.

First off lets give credit to the one brought this new doll to my attention.

Clearly I am calling this an impulse buy,
One reason would be the fact that the price sounded so pleasing as compared to $120.00 as some of the other hujoo dolls my be. Two Reason, I am in a sulking mood. I know I should have my Afra doll by now, but getting a new house for rent, new tires for the Truck, then paying the Truck off. All stuff that is more important has come to prolong my wait for my doll. In short it's driving me nuts. Three Reason, Cute. Four reason maybe I could convince my friends close by to buy this one or I can give them one as a gift. Five Reason, this will keep me at bay for another month, or at least get shop ready for my BJD's.

What's The Hold Up?

Hi peoples,

        yeah I know It's been 2-3 months and still no where on updates. I do apologize amongst being in aww with all the different types of BJDs. I thought I would take the advice of other and look at several types and style of the dolls.

First Site I visited was Angel of Dream but still felt "why must the guys be my Idealistic Girl?" Thus my conflict began with trying to find a doll to my liking that "was my doll". My friends suggested to look at this fella's shop , renaissancefashion , on ebay cause that's where they got their doll that they have been modeling it on Tea Time Doll and at Deviantart.com . My interest was to get a doll similar in size tor clothes and item swapping in the future.

Again faced with the fact that this doll is a boy, but the store owner said that he would remove the head and place it on a female body, how is awesome is that. This is the Afra doll I have been speaking of and in 2 paychecks if things go right will have

Under Construction

Wow I haven't had a blog in a long time. This is my attempt to start something new, currently the photo's in the slide show are not mine they are just random images from photobucket.com and currently those are not my videos, but they are helpful. I Currently don't have a doll yet, tear, and it's ok saving up for one so in about a month and you shall see piccys.
